When news surfaced that a young man from a wealthy adoptive family had killed his biological father, it sparked widespread public debate. To explore this contentious issue, a virtual court was set up within a college setting. In this simulated courtroom, 12 Chinese individuals from various backgrounds came together to deliberate on the case, much like a jury would. As the main character posed complex and stimulating questions, participants began to examine the case more critically. This process unveiled their biases and emotional preconceptions, not only about the suspect but also about one another and society as a whole.
