When news surfaced that a young man from a wealthy adoptive family had killed his biological father, it sparked widespread public debate. To delve into this contentious issue, a virtual court was set up within a college setting. In this simulated courtroom, twelve Chinese individuals from various backgrounds came together to deliberate on the case, much like a jury would. The main character posed complex and stimulating questions, prompting the participants to critically examine the situation. Throughout this process, the biases and emotional preconceptions of the individuals about the suspect, each other, and society as a whole were gradually unveiled.
