Arrogant, self-absorbed, and self-sabotaging “Jimmy Shive-Overly” believes that all relationships are destined to fail. Meanwhile, “Gretchen Cutler,” who is skeptical, eager to please, and headstrong, is convinced that relationships aren’t her thing. When they cross paths at a wedding, it seems inevitable that they end up going home together. Against their own instincts, they start to develop feelings for one another.
