Ravn, a well-regarded doctor, is on a desperate quest to find a remedy for his terminally ill wife, Vilma. After the hospital ceases her treatment, Ravn secretly continues his efforts. He receives assistance from Leif, a corrupt civil defense official, doomsday prepper, and former patient. Together, they establish an underground, illegal clinic to treat patients who live off the grid. This clinic funds Ravn’s research to find a cure for Vilma, while Leif gains influence among the criminals and paranoid individuals living outside the welfare system. As Ravn is forced to compromise his ethics more and more, he often finds himself at odds with Leif, yet he holds onto the hope of saving Vilma.
