Nora, who is financially struggling, resides in Brooklyn and is employed in customer service for the opulent digital afterlife known as “Lakeview.” After Nathan, a party-loving coder from Los Angeles, experiences a crash in his autonomous vehicle, his demanding girlfriend decides to upload him permanently into the virtual realm where Nora works.
