
Muyun Sheng, the overlooked sixth son of Emperor Ming of Duan, is born to a spirit mother. He stumbles upon an ancient painting and becomes enchanted by the spirit within it, named Panxi. Together, they vow to explore the world’s most beautiful places. Muyun Sheng’s friend, Muru Hanjiang, is the son of the renowned General Muru Shuo, who is celebrated for his victory over the Eight Tribes of Han Province.
Years later, Shuofeng Heye, a descendant of the Eight Tribes, creates tension between the Muyun and Muru families. The safety of the Duan Dynasty from the Eight Tribes’ invasion hinges on the restoration of friendship and loyalty between these two families.
