Tremé is named after a New Orleans neighborhood and depicts the community’s experiences following the 2005 hurricane. Set three months after Hurricane Katrina, the series follows the efforts of New Orleans residents—such as musicians, chefs, Mardi Gras Indians, and other locals—as they work to restore their lives, homes, and distinctive cultural heritage.
