“Tom and Jerry Tales” is an animated TV series that started production in 2005 and made its debut in the U.S. on September 23, 2006, concluding on March 22, 2008, on Kids’ WB!. This series marks the fourth installment in the franchise, continuing the classic chase and comedic violence between the iconic, Oscar-winning cat and mouse duo, along with other characters, a tradition that began with the original “Tom and Jerry” cartoon, “Puss Gets the Boot.” The show draws inspiration from the beloved cat and mouse antics of the 1940s and 1950s cartoons. Since November 21, 2011, Cartoon Network has been broadcasting reruns of the series.
