When history teacher Matt Bashir is elevated to the position of Principal at a notoriously violent boys’ school in the south-west of Sydney, his unconventional methods lead to clashes and put his private life at risk. However, just as he appears to be making headway, the body of a 17-year-old student is discovered on the school premises.
