Set in the Tierra Chula Resident Hotel, “Tarantula” follows the story of Echo Johnson, a well-regarded tattoo artist who lacks formal certification. Through Echo’s lyrical musings, we hear stories of escapades with fellow hotel dwellers as they engage in activities like gate-crashing parties, scavenging through dumpsters, and other socially questionable antics.
