Set in South Carolina, “South of Hell” is a supernatural thriller centered around Maria Abascal (played by Suvari), an alluring freelance demon hunter whose abilities originate from her inner self. Much like her prey, Maria is internally conflicted, battling with her own demon, Abigail, who lives within her and thrives on the malevolence Maria extracts from others. Maria and Abigail are bound by a shared soul and fate, but as Maria fervently attempts to suppress Abigail, she will learn the lengths to which Abigail will go to stay within her.
