After Inspector Donny Fitzpatrick of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary delves too deeply into the corrupt dealings of a local politician, he is reassigned to Saint-Pierre et Miquelon, a French territory in the Atlantic Ocean. His presence there unsettles Deputy Chief Geneviève Archambault, a Parisian who has her own mysterious reasons for being on the islands.

By a twist of fate, these two experienced officers, each with distinct policing styles and methods, are compelled to join forces to tackle unusual and thrilling cases. Despite the islands’ appearance as a charming tourist spot, beneath the surface lies a hub of serious criminal activity that often finds its way to their picturesque shores. Initially wary and distrustful of one another, Arch and Fitz soon realize that they make a formidable team.
