
“Profiler” is an American crime drama series that was broadcast on NBC from 1996 to 2000. The show centers on the adventures of a criminal profiler who collaborates with the FBI’s fictional Violent Crimes Task Force located in Atlanta, Georgia.
In the first three seasons, Ally Walker portrayed the profiler, Dr. Samantha Waters. In the final season, Jamie Luner took over the lead role as Dr. Rachel Burke. The series also featured Robert Davi, Roma Maffia, Peter Frechette, Erica Gimpel, and Julian McMahon as co-stars throughout its duration. Caitlin Wachs initially played the role of Dr. Waters’ daughter for the first two seasons, with Evan Rachel Wood assuming the role in 1998.
“Profiler” shares a similar main character and concept with the Fox Network series “Millennium,” which was created by Chris Carter. Both series debuted at the start of the 1996–97 television season.
