“Hostages” is a drama series from the United States that was broadcast on CBS during the 2013–14 TV season. It is adapted from an Israeli series developed by Alon Aranya, Omri Givon, and Rotem Shamir, which is set to debut on October 13, 2013, nearly three weeks following the American version’s launch. Jeffrey Nachmanoff was responsible for writing and directing the pilot episode of the U.S. adaptation, which first aired on September 23, 2013.
