Designing Women is a U.S. sitcom that focuses on the professional and personal experiences of four women and a man working at an interior design company in Atlanta, Georgia. The series was broadcast on CBS from September 29, 1986, to May 24, 1993. Linda Bloodworth-Thomason, the show’s creator and lead writer, penned numerous episodes during its early seasons. As of 2011, the show is available in syndication on the Comedy Gold and TVGN networks.
