“Coach” is a U.S. sitcom that was broadcast on ABC for nine seasons, from 1989 until 1997. The show features Craig T. Nelson in the role of Hayden Fox, who is the head coach of the fictional Minnesota State University Screaming Eagles, a Division I-A college football team. The series also includes Jerry Van Dyke portraying Luther Van Dam and Bill Fagerbakke as Michael “Dauber” Dybinski, both serving as assistant coaches to Fox. Shelley Fabares plays Christine Armstrong, Hayden’s girlfriend, who works as a television news anchor.
