
Taylor Evans, a modern and attractive woman, finds her life unraveling as she is suddenly afflicted by an inexplicable fear of water, which threatens to destroy her delicate existence. In a bid to save herself, she turns to Dr. John Cane, a disreputable phobia expert and a dubious ally. Dr. Cane, a well-known psychiatrist, has gained recent fame in the medical field due to a successful yet contentious behavior analysis therapy he developed on an isolated island. Despite his reservations, Dr. Cane consents to help Taylor overcome her irrational water phobia, but only if the treatment occurs on the secluded island to ensure her safety and health. However, on this island, nothing is as it appears.
