Zatoichi finds himself compelled to kill a young man indebted to a yakuza leader. Shortly after, the man’s sister, Osode, appears with the money she earned through prostitution to settle the debt. However, the boss’s true intentions come to light as he tries to take Osode despite the debt being cleared. Realizing his tragic mistake, Zatoichi steps in to defend her from the gang. Osode faces a difficult situation, having to depend on her brother’s killer for safety, while Zatoichi grapples with the wrong he has committed.
