Dimitris, an enthusiastic collector of Greek artifacts from Asia Minor, is organizing an exhibition showcasing the multicultural life in Smyrna prior to World War I. During a visit to Izmir with his girlfriend Rita, he discovers a Greek wedding gown marked with blood and an aged photograph in a quaint antique store. These finds propel him on a quest to connect the past with the present.
