In the south of France, screenwriter Leo is on a quest to find a wolf. While exploring locations, he becomes captivated by Marie, an energetic and independent shepherdess. Nine months later, she delivers their baby. Struggling with post-natal depression and lacking trust in Leo due to his unpredictable comings and goings, Marie decides to leave them both. Leo is left to raise the child on his own.
