A medical helicopter crew encounters a mishap while assisting a combined force of U.S. and United Nations troops led by a Spanish division in Afghanistan. The Spanish military is given just one night to plan the rescue of the crew and the wounded. However, what initially appears to be a standard operation quickly escalates into chaos when they are instructed to retrieve the helicopter as well. The situation deteriorates further as a large number of Taliban fighters begin to encircle them during the night.
