In this semi-autobiographical comedy, writer, director, and actor Alex Karpovsky, well-known to fans of independent cinema, showcases his impressive comedic talent. Blurring the boundaries between fiction and reality, he portrays an indie filmmaker also named Alex Karpovsky. After being left by his long-term girlfriend who is frustrated by his unwillingness to commit to marriage, he embarks on a misguided road trip with a hesitant old friend. Together, they attempt a small-scale tour, showing his film at college campuses and indie theaters.
