When the inept adult Al Clancy inadvertently commits to looking after his witty 10-year-old nephew Karl for a week, he finds both his career and living situation at risk. In a daring attempt to secure Al’s employment, they take his mother’s camper van, form a close bond, and set off on a whirlwind journey across Ireland, plastering posters everywhere. As mishaps occur and tensions rise, one of them comes to the realization that the other must mature.
