Emma Fielding, an archaeologist, is brought on board to provide her expertise for the purchase of a grand estate that is rumored to be under a curse. However, her task takes a dark turn when she stumbles upon the corpse of the archaeologist she was meant to follow, hidden away in a concealed room deep within the mansion. With the help of her friend, FBI special agent Jim Conner, Fielding must navigate through a web of evidence and a lengthy roster of potential suspects, each with their own motive for murder, to uncover the identity of the killer.
