This year’s standout comedy is a film that aspires to be a magical romance-drama but ends up being one of the most nonsensical movies ever made. The actors, and possibly not the director Kam Kwok-Leung, might realize this. The film includes CGI tears and artwork depicting monkeys eating corn. A memorable moment is Chang Chen’s portrayal of a Korean character.
