In a tranquil area of Seoul, Jung-won operates a modest photo studio, a legacy from his widowed father. This unassuming establishment is where Jung-won spends his days managing demanding clients, enlarging photos of school crushes for local children, and taking pictures for funeral altars. Although his life appears to be a series of serene moments, Jung-won is acutely aware that his time is more limited than he would like. Despite being in his mid-30s, he has a profound understanding of mortality and accepts his destiny, even as his elderly father and younger sister express subtle concerns. His routine continues unchanged until he encounters Darim, a worker at the Traffic Control Division of the local district office. She frequents the studio daily to develop photos of parking infractions.
