After two archaeologists unearth an ancient extraterrestrial relic in Africa, they find themselves fleeing for their lives. They are pursued by an indomitable guardian that has been awakened by their discovery, as well as their avaricious and unhinged employer, both of whom are determined to possess the artifact.
