Roast Pork, a young recruit in the triad, quickly rises to become the trusted aide of the leader, Kerosene. Despite his involvement in the gang, Roast Pork’s true interests lie in his thriving restaurant business, his devoted wife, and their two children. When Kerosene proposes elevating him to the top position in the organization to help settle his own financial issues, Roast Pork is understandably hesitant. He devises a clever plan with his associates to remove himself from consideration, but Kerosene’s interference causes the plan to unravel. Just as it seems there is no way out, Sparrow, a veteran gangster, is released from prison after serving 20 years for a gang-related murder, a crime that had secured him a promise of leadership. However, Sparrow has his own intentions of leaving the gang life behind, sparking a strategic showdown between him and Roast Pork.
