A man, injured and in distress, places an urgent call to report a gunman who has taken control of a coffee shop, indiscriminately shooting people. When the SWAT team arrives, the gunman begins to shoot at them. In a series of flashbacks, a waitress attends to a variety of patrons, each oblivious to the impending tragedy that will drastically alter their lives.
