On a winter morning in Bucharest, a couple shares an intimate moment. Adina is eager to move in with her boyfriend, Radu, as soon as possible. However, Radu is more hesitant, merely going along with her plans. It’s New Year’s Eve, and the couple has a busy day ahead: they plan to visit Adina’s parents and later attend a party with friends. While picking up last-minute presents at the supermarket, Radu thinks he sees his unforgettable ex-girlfriend, Nadja. This brief encounter stirs up Radu’s doubts about his relationship with Adina. Just as the New Year’s celebrations begin, their relationship suddenly ends. At this moment, Radu’s friend Alex conveniently invites him to join a night out with friends, which Radu accepts, hoping to run into Nadja. Director Paul Negogescu skillfully portrays Radu with precision and subtle irony, capturing the essence of a New Year’s Eve with remarkable authenticity.
