When American atheist Frank falls for the charming young Arab woman, Sarah, he chooses to propose to her in her native city. However, their plans are thwarted when they are apprehended by corrupt Islamic authorities who demand bribes for their release. Tragically, Sarah is killed, and Frank is wrongfully accused of her murder. Once deported back to the United States, Frank embarks on a spiritual quest while in prison, forming a bond with his cellmate Ayman, a moderate Muslim. After his colleague is murdered for investigating the judge’s illicit activities, Frank’s only option to clear his name is to escape and seek vengeance against the judge.
