A massive meteorite lands in a peaceful town, causing local pet dogs to inexplicably turn violent, attacking and killing the townspeople. Teenager Roslyn (Mays) is camping with her loyal, elderly dog Shep when the chaos erupts. With roads blocked and the town in disarray, Roslyn and her family must reunite by defending themselves against the ferocious canines before the dogs overrun the town and any chance of escape vanishes.
