In this film, the adaptable Kazuki Kitamura takes on the role of Kyutaro Madarame, a once-feared samurai now struggling in the old city of Edo. Caught in the middle of a fierce rivalry between two gangs—one devoted to cats and the other to dogs—he reluctantly agrees to the dog faction’s request to eliminate the rival leader’s cherished pet: a charming white cat. However, when the moment comes to strike, he finds himself unable to carry out the task, as the cat touches his heart. Before he can embrace his new identity as a cat enthusiast, the formidable Madarame must confront both gangs in a traditional samurai showdown.
