In 2009, a group of six friends heads to a remote cabin for a snowy weekend getaway. However, their plans are disrupted by a massive snowstorm that leaves them stranded on the mountain. As they remain trapped, the sinister spirits of the Donner Party seem to come back to life. Yet, the question arises: are these apparitions real, or is it merely the effects of ‘cabin fever’ that unleash their inner fears and darkness, leading them to turn on one another as their grip on reality begins to unravel?
