Michael, a thriving actor, carries a dark secret from his youth: he fatally stabbed his father. He and his girlfriend, Deborah, visit his mother’s home for the weekend. They are accompanied by the director and other members of a recent film project, but they are met with a chilly welcome from the superstitious housekeeper, Oliver. Before long, unpleasant incidents start occurring to some of the guests, and Michael becomes anxious that his traumatic past might be resurfacing.
