A peculiar individual spent his whole life confined in a rural cellar. However, following the passing of his caretaker, an elderly solitary woman, the Monkey Boy is compelled to venture into the outside world. The narrative unfolds over the course of a single night, providing a brief window to explore the world, yet sufficient time for him to encounter Agata, a young autistic girl. She appears to be the only person capable of connecting with him amidst a night filled with strange, isolated, and discontented human beings.
