In a forest on La Gomera, part of the Canary Islands, the body of a young man is discovered. Initially, a local politician is charged, but he is eventually cleared of all accusations. Three years pass, and Sergeant Bevilaqua, along with Corporal Chamorro, teams up with Corporal Anglada to reopen the investigation.
