Medea
Watch Trailer
This film is a reinterpretation of Euripides’ Greek tragedy, “Medea,” where divine interventions are notably absent. The story centers on the tragic figure of Medea, who, after aiding Jason in the legendary quest of the Argonauts—going so far as to sacrifice her own brother for his success—faces betrayal when Jason plans to wed the daughter of the King of Corinth. Perceiving Medea as a threat to his daughter’s happiness, the king orders her exile. However, Medea requests just one more day before leaving the city, during which she exacts her revenge.
