Jack, a man in his middle years, finds himself in a downward spiral after being arrested for drug-related charges. Over the course of six weeks, he attempts to mend his fractured marriage, stand up to an overbearing in-law, and steer his stepbrother onto a better path. Despite his earnest efforts, everything seems to fall apart, leaving his life in even greater disarray.
