The young swift, Manou, is raised under the impression that he is a seagull. However, during his flying lessons, he discovers that he is not. Disturbed by this revelation, he leaves his home. On his journey, he encounters other swifts and learns about his true identity. When a perilous situation arises that endangers both the seagulls and the swifts, Manou steps up to save the day, emerging as a hero.
