Tyler Perry’s latest musical stage production features the notorious character Mabel Simmons, better known to her fans as “Madea.” After being sentenced by a judge to complete 20 hours of community service at a nearby retirement home, Madea’s straightforward and candid approach catches the residents and staff off guard.
