In a high-rise apartment, young couple Alex and Mahsa reside with their seven-year-old daughter, Mina. Their lives appear entirely typical and almost uncomfortably authentic: their residence, their careers, Mina’s schooling, and the way they express love and affection for one another. The boundary between reality and fiction is indistinct because they are, in fact, a genuine family. However, their ordinary existence takes a terrifying turn when Alex suffers an injury, which invites a sinister force into their lives. This malevolent entity begins to tear the family apart, targeting them one by one. It is a violent presence intent on demonstrating that possession is not only real but also profoundly unsettling and starkly different from its portrayal in films.
