Perry Roberts is on the verge of completing his studies at an elite private college. As the son of a dishonest Congressman, Perry has become disillusioned with everything he once valued—his family, his girlfriend, and the American Dream. He feels emotionally empty and depressed. In his quest for self-discovery, Perry encounters Giovanni, an art student with untapped potential who is his complete opposite. Giovanni, who grew up with abusive parents and was shuffled through various foster homes, is dark and nihilistic. He exists in a distorted reality filled with drugs and sex, culminating in a dangerous game involving a gun and a single bullet.
