High schooler Miyui Mashio is facing a tough time. Her aspiration to become an idol seems out of reach, and her parents are constantly at odds. Unexpectedly, she discovers a genie in a bottle, and through a twist of fate, she is transported back to the year 1991. To her surprise, she ends up attending school alongside her parents, who are not on good terms, threatening her very existence. Miyui discovers that her father has a fondness for idols, so she teams up with her mother and other girls to create the idol group AGS16, hoping this will lead her parents to fall in love.
