Gavin Matthews, a criminal, is forcibly enlisted by “The Corporation,” a clandestine group that operates as an unofficial “Justice Department,” correcting injustices that the legal system fails to address. His identity and history erased, Matthews is detained alongside other “recruits” at the organization’s training and reeducation center. There, they are molded into skilled assassins, with the grim alternative of being disposed of if they fail. As Matthews nears the end of his training, he and his mentor uncover The Corporation’s actual agenda, realizing they are slated for elimination once their mission is fulfilled. They must now deliver their own brand of justice before time runs out.
