“King Solomon’s Mines” is a TV miniseries from 2004, split into two parts, marking the fifth cinematic rendition of Henry Rider Haggard’s 1885 novel of the same title. Featuring Patrick Swayze in the role of Allan Quartermain and Alison Doody as Elizabeth Maitland, the series was produced by Hallmark Entertainment and first broadcast on the Hallmark Channel on June 6, 2004. It was later compiled into a single movie DVD and released in September 2004.
