Director and podcaster Kevin Smith’s first stand-up performance, which almost cost him his life, was filmed on February 25, 2018, at the Alex Theater in Glendale, CA. Right after the performance, Smith experienced a life-threatening heart attack due to a complete blockage of his LAD artery, often referred to as “the Widow-Maker.” Fortunately, he survived, and this stand-up special is the result, featuring his humorous takes on topics like marriage, being a father, friendships, and his career (or the absence of it).
