Takeharu Takami, portrayed by Ryuhei Matsuda, works as a bank teller but develops an aversion to money. He chooses to live without using any currency. Seeking a change, Takeharu relocates to a quaint village in the Tohoku area, where he meets locals who prove to be quite challenging.
