In “JINGLE BELL ROCKS!”, filmmaker Mitchell Kezin embarks on a journey to explore the passion of some of the most iconic Christmas music enthusiasts. He travels to meet his festive idols, such as hip hop icon Joseph “Rev Run” Simmons from RUN-D.M.C., Wayne Coyne of The Flaming Lips, director John Waters, jazz musician Bob Dorough, Los Angeles DJ and music expert Dr. Demento, and Calypso star The Mighty Sparrow. Kezin is on a quest to uncover the top twelve overlooked Christmas songs ever made, while pondering and addressing the question, “Why do we continue to snuggle up with Bing Crosby’s tunes when the holiday season arrives?”
