Dong-chul appears to be an ordinary office worker, a devoted father, and a caring husband. However, he harbors a secret that is rapidly closing in on him. He struggles to even cover the interest on a debt owed to a menacing loan shark, and the deadline for the full repayment is looming ominously. Things take a turn for the worse when he becomes entangled in a kidnapping plot with his friend Man-ho, only to discover his ineptitude at the crime. He clumsily handles the rope while trying to restrain their captive and struggles to make the ransom call. The situation becomes even more dire when he receives a call from the kidnappers who have taken his daughter, leaving him in an impossible predicament.
